A white Christmas! :-)

Well just after our guests had left, it actually began to snow yesterday! Truely magical, and oh! so beautiful!
Took the dogs (and new puppy) to the woods this morning - really wonderful, both for the stunning scenery, and also the pleasure of watching dogs and puppy playing in the snow! And on the way back we were all fascinated by the llamas - not exactly what you usually see in a Cheshire field, but looking splendid in the snow!

Thought I'd be daring and include a photo of me for once! Should be a collector's item I think, given that apart from the one on my security pass at work, I think it's the only other one I've allowed to be taken in the last x years! Much prefer the other side of the camera... but just for you Dave... here I am! x

Cats of Italy!

Just back from two wonderful weeks in Italy - but instead of just taking loads and loads of landscape / 'holiday snaps', I also couldn't resist the feral cats and their kittens that lived in the gardens of our villa! These are just a few of the dozens of 'cat shots' I came home with...
Most were quite shy, but three of them loved human company - even following us on a long walk around the 18 acres of land at the villa! The kids named these 'The Three MouseCateers', and gave them names!
Up until the holiday I've always been more of a 'dog' person myself and never really liked cats - but am now a 'cat convert', and were it not for the UK's anti-rabies rules, would have dearly loved to 're-locate' 'TJ, Moobs and Princess'! (I'm sure our dogs would have come to terms with having 3 feline 'invaders' - eventually!)
