Woodland walk
What a wonderful evening for our regular wander in the woods... The bracken is now 5 or 6 feet high in places, and the kids had a wonderful time playing hide-and-seek with the dogs, whilst I enjoyed watching their antics - and attempted to capture a little of the beauty of our surroundings. How lucky we are!

Little Moreton Hall
Arguably Britain's oldest and most famous timber-framed manor house. The drunkenly reeling south front, topped by a spectacular long gallery, opens onto a cobbled courtyard and the main body of the Hall. To the rear is a knot garden, and a moat surrounds the house and garden.

Red bug
Couldn't resist photographing this beetle today - although I suspect it's probably wrecking havoc in my garden! SUCH a lovely colour, though...
(Don't suppose anyone knows what it is, do they?)
Then took the dogs for a walk... and yep... shot a few more flowers..
